The Hydrocell Tradie 17 Litre pressure washer is stronger and much more robust with new fittings, thicker casting, alloy connectors and upgraded heavy-duty metal nozzle. There are reinforcements internally which means it can take the rough and tumble of the work site.
The improved features include an alloy water outlet and tougher brass spray nozzle, with 6 Metres of hose with hose connectors plus protective hose clamp. Extra seals have been included along with the many other standard features such as wheels on the base and a padded shoulder strap.
The Tradie has a Lead battery, meaning it'll run for 30 minutes non-stop and will give you a heads-up that you need to wrap up your job before recharging. The sealed Lead-Acid battery will give operators at least 5 tanks of water before the battery will require a recharge. The first charge takes 4 hours with subsequent charges of approx. 1 to 2 hours.
The Tradie is also equipped with a built-in 12V rechargeable Lead battery pack with a 3 Metre power cord that will help you clean in those hard-to-reach spots specially in situations where more power is required.
The GFS-CT1 portable pressure washer can be used while running off your 12V cigarette lighter power socket in your running car or can connect to the Back Up Power Pack** via its 12V port in built into its handle. It can also be charged when not in use via the supplied wall charger.

What is the PSI/pressure of the Hydrocell Washer units?
The pressure can vary from 43.5 to 130.5 PSI as you adjust the nozzle according to your washing preferences. This pressure is similar to that of a fixed garden hose. Perfect for cleaning the family pet or the salt from your boat while on the go, or when giving an air conditioner a deep but gentle clean on site.
What sort of running time can I expect from my Hydrocell's battery?
Approx 30mins running time on a fully charged battery.
Can I charge my Hydrocell Washer on the inbuilt 12V car charger?
Hmmm, yes... you could - but we wouldn't recommend it! Your 12V car charger is designed to use while your unit is running.
Here's why: Your standard wall charger is 240V and can charge your battery from flat to full in 30mins max. Understandably, the humble 12V car charger is much slower. If you'd like to do this though, you sure can, just know you will need your car engine on/ideally running to get a decent charge so if you had a 2+hr drive ahead of you, you're all set.
Can I run detergents through my Hydrocell tank?
No! Detergents in the tank will rot the seals and void your manufacturer's warranty.

How much water will I need for a clean?
This is of course variable, depending on what you're cleaning and the pressure setting you're using, however, as a guide - you will consume 1.5 Litres of water per minute.
Can I use the wall charger as a continuous power source while operating the Hydrocell Washer?
Our Hydrocell Washers are designed to be portable so unfortunately no, you can not use the washer while plugged into the wall. You can, however, use the 12V car charger as a continuous power source while the Hydrocell unit is in use. Or you can purchase the 12 V back-up battery from our Accessories section.
