The Testo 606-1 is a particularly convenient and easy-to-operate compact material moisture meter that measures the moisture content in wood, walls and other surfaces and materials and fits perfectly into any pocket. The Testo 606-1 moisture meter doesn’t fail to impress with a variety of functions: easy to use; precise and absolutely reliable measurements; suitable for a wide range of different types of wood and building materials.
The two ram electrodes are pushed firmly into the wood or building material where they measure the moisture content as a percentage based on the dry mass (dry weight).
For the measurement of wood moisture, characteristic curves are available for beech, spruce, larch, oak, pine and maple. In order to locate wet spots in building materials, curves are additionally stored for cement screed, plaster, anhydrite screed, cement mortar, lime mortar, and brick.
The hold function freezes the last measurement while the backlit display ensures that the meter can be used in all lighting conditions. A slip-on protective cap and belt bag ensure that the moisture meter is stored safely and a hand strap helps prevent the meter from accidentally being dropped.

The Testo 606-1 comes complete with a wide range of characteristic curves for wood and building materials. This allows the measured moisture content to be shown directly as a weight percentage.
